Summer Scrapbook

We are back from a long summer vacation and getting back into our NYC groove. Our summer was beyond wonderful filled with lots of time at the beach in the Hamptons, and relaxing time in the Hudson Valley. Hermione grew up so much this summer it is astonishing. Where she was timid in the pool she is now a full on confident swimmer who happily jumps into the deep end on her own! She started horse back riding lessons and took to it immediately. By the end of the summer she was even trotting and posting! She also started taking tennis lessons and love dit so much I signed her up for tennis this fall. I cannot believe my shy, timid girl has turned into the brave, bold super girl willing to try anything!
 

Portia also grew up a ton. She is now a very confident walker and even attempts to run on occasion. She really is turning from a baby into a toddler before my eyes. She is still the sweetest, happiest, funny baby around but now I am starting to see glimmers of the little girl she will become. She is bold and daring and never fails when she sets her mind to something!

I am so excited to see what this year will bring us. Hermione starts full day school ( her last year of preschool) on Wednesday and it will be so strange to not have her home for lunch everyday. In fact between school and after school activities her time is basically spoken for after breakfast until dinner!
