Ring Cleaning
I still remember seeing my engagement ring for the first time. I was so shocked and excited when Doug asked me to marry him and showed me this gorgeous ring I spit wine all over myself. Classy. I love my engagement and wedding rings dearly but they do not get the attention they used to. Nowadays my time is spent in the kitchen creating recipes or at the playground with Hermione and I tend to leave my rings behind. I only really put them on at night when I go out. I also used to take them to a jeweler every few months to get cleaned- that doesn't happen so much any more.
To help get my rings to sparkle like new without a trip to the jeweler I have started doing this super fast at home cleaning routine. It's amazing what just a minute of my time and two key products can do.
First I rub my ring with a tiny bit of Lemon Essential Oil* using my finger.
Once the ring is nice a lemon-y I put two drops of Honest Company Dish Soap on an old tooth brush, get it nice and sudsy and scrub away! Then I rinse with cold water and let it to a beautiful shine!
* for essential oils I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doTERRA. Their quality is beyond anything else out there. I am a doTERRA Wellness Advocate so be sure to visit my online shop and check out these amazing essential oil! I will be featuring new ways to use oils ( like these allergy remedies) on the blog often so be sure to check back!
