After what has felt like and incredibly long, cold, gloomy winter Doug and I decided to take Hermione to Florida for a little warmth and sunshine. She loved our Jamaica trip so much that we thought one more break before spring arrives would do us all a world of good. We had and incredibly fun, sunny five day break in Palm Beach and all feel restored and revived. Hermione had the time of her life and was all smiles and happiness the entire trip. She played so hard in the pool and on the beach everyday that she slept until almost 8am each morning (very late for my girl!) and took a three hour nap each afternoon! I love dressing Hermione for the warm weather. Sundresses, rompers and bathing suits are so easy, adorable and comfortable. One piece and you are done! I like to dress Hermione in layers for the plane. That way she is warm in the air conditioning but can easily lose a layer or two once we get to our destination. A cute hoodie makes black leggings a little more fun. Hermione loves her fedora and insisted on wearing it most of the flight!
This sundress is about as bright and tropical as it gets and is made extra fun with "kitty cat shoes"!Animal prints are always a good choice. When you need to get a hungry toddler to breakfast asap a breezy romper (no longer available) is your best bet.After a long swim a pint-sized cover up is perfect for relaxing in a lounge chair. I want this one in my size!One afternoon we took a break from the water and headed to The Breakers to play and explore. This dress is just about as Palm Beach as it gets. She convinced Daddy to buy her this headband and charm necklace at the gift shop. My girl loves to accessorize! Another day, another romper. And her new charm necklace of course.When you spend your entire day on the beach you need an arsenal of bathing suits. This polka dot, and this Mara Hoffman ( similar style) are personal favorites. Most evenings after swimming we would all shower and change and have an early dinner together. This dress ( similar style) felt just perfect for a Palm Beach dinner al fresco. Again, note the new favorite charm necklace.
