Yoga Teddy Bear
Pardon the radio silence! I have been taking some time this summer to adjust to the whole "mom of two" thing. Everyone is doing great but it is certainly an adjustment. With two kids every day is a juggling act to make sure everything gets done and everyone gets what they need be it a workout, a meal, a nap, some alone time with mom or dad etc. I have been very lucky this summer since Doug has been on paternity leave (thank you Doctors Without Borders!) We have gotten a lot of quality family time and adventures in. I am in for a rude awakening when he goes back to work after Labor Day! If you have been following me here and on social media for awhile you know that yoga is a huge part of our daily life. Both Doug and I have strong practices and really try and include some yoga into everyday in order to help us stay strong, flexible, balanced and centered. Hermione is very interested (and quite skilled) in yoga as well from all of her time watching Mommy and Daddy practice!
I am always looking for books and games to help Hermione learn more about yoga and was thrilled recently to discover the adorable company Yoga Teddy Bear. They make stickers, coloring books and even a yoga mat featuring a teddy bear who helps teach children all of the various yoga poses. Hermione adores her new pink Yoga Teddy Bear mat as well as all of the coloring books I got her. What a great way to help her dive further into the world of yoga. She is learning new poses everyday and loves copying what the bear on her mat is doing!
Yoga Teddy Bear also makes the cutest series of coloring books. Each book teaches about different yoga poses using Yoga Teddy Bear and his animal friends as examples. The books have been getting a ton of attention this summer, I always make sure to have one on hand in Hermione's backpack or in my diaper bag to keep her entertained at restaurants or when she needs a break from the pool.
I am so thrilled that I discovered Yoga Teddy Bear. Not only do they make adorable and educational products for my tiny yogini but they are an incredibly caring and thoughtful small business. Their customer service can't be beat and you can tell they truly care about helping everyone enjoy and learn about yoga!
