Rosemary Lemonade
I love to entertain. Few things make me happier than cooking for my friends and family and welcoming them into my home. My parties are not always fancy seated affairs, more often than not they involve a group of girls gathered around my kitchen counter gabbing about reality television.
As tends to happen at my age, I am often surrounded by pregnant or nursing friends. There was even a long stretch last year when my sister and best friend were expecting at the same time! While I always have plenty of organic wine on hand ( I am a Sauv Blanc drinker myself) I also like to make sure the non drinkers amongst us have something special to imbibe. And for me, plain water won't cut it! Whenever I host a party or get together of any sort I always make sure there is a fun, non-alcohalic beverage available. In the warmer months these tend to be sugar free homemade herbal lemonades. My lemonade concoctions have become a bit notorious- "what kind of lemonade do you have? " is now the first thing my sister asks when she walks in my door.
This rosemary lemonade is my current favorite. Unlike traditional lemonade it is not laden with tons of sugar. Instead, a few squirts of my favorite liquid stevia does the trick! It would be perfect for any summer party you may be having this weekend! I hope you enjoy!
