Making Bathtime Fun Again (Featuring Bubbsi)
Bathtime. In my house it’s part of the three step dinner, bath, and bed routine that I often dread! At the end of a long day my girls are cranky, tired and sometimes really, really whiny. Getting them in the tub, keeping them happy and not fighting once they are in can be a challenge!
Recently I discovered a great trick to help make bathtime fun agin. Bubbsi coconut oil skincare! Beyond the adorable and playful packaging I truly love what’s inside all Bubbsi products. Made from coconut oil they are super gentle and hydrating on my girl’s delicate skin. The Whipped Coconut Oil Body Cream is so good I have been using it on myself as well as the girls. We love to massage it on fresh out of the tub or shower when our skin is still damp to lock in moisture. I also love skipping soap and giving them an oil massage in the bath with the Coconut Oil Balm. I rub a little onto their wet skin and let them soak in the tub. It’s the most hydrating cleanse ever! If they have any super dry patches on their skin the Oil Balm is a miracle worker!
Bubbsi’s Creamy Coconut Oil Baby Shampoo + Wash is another favorite product for their hair and body. For me a sulfate free shampoo is so important. It doesn't lather as much due to its natural, gentle content but that doesn't mean it's not cleansing! We've been conditioned to think lather = cleansing! Not true at all.
After the bath the girl’s like to hang out in their cozy robes (similar here) while I massage them with body cream. Then it’s into their favorite nightgowns for a quick “jumping party” on my bed and off to sleep. Ok who are we kidding? Off to sleep really means three books each, a bedtime snack, multiple requests for water and misplaced lovies and finally, finally sleep. But at least bathtime is less of an ordeal now thanks to Bubbsi!
