Holiday Gifts for the Girls
It's that time of year. Despite all that is going on in the world, the holidays are not cancelled! This holiday season I am making an extra effort to shop at small businesses. Now more than ever small businesses are struggling to stay open and every dollar you spend with them truly helps. Trust me, the big chain stores do not need your money right now. Here are a few things my girls with be unwrapping from some of my very favorite small businesses.
Puzzles from Norman and Jules
Norman and Jules has been my favorite toy store ever since Hermione was a baby. They have the most insanely gorgeous collection of toys and owners, Courtney and Avi, are incredible at recommending gifts. Portia is very into puzzles right now and I know she will love this one.
Petite n' Pretty Makeup
It's no secret Hermione is into makeup. In fact the only gift has really mentioned wanting for the holidays is makeup. Lot's of makeup. I love Petite n' Pretty makeup for her to play around with. The products are totally clean and the colors are sparkly and age appropriate.
Doll from Merritt Bookstore
My all-time favorite independent bookstore also has a great selection of toys. This beautiful doll caught my eye for Portia back in October and has been hiding in our basement waiting for her ever since!
Crystal Ball from Sage and Salt
Hermione loves crystals and one of the gorgeous crystal balls from Sage and Salt would be an amazing addition to her collection. Maybe she can look into it and give us all some good news about 2021?
Hair Accessories from Alice + Hops
Not a day goes by when my girls don't have something from Alice + Hops in their hair. Hermione love the Alice Headbands and Portia always wears her namesake Charlie set in her pigtails. Brand new this holiday season are the Reagan bows which are just so stunning!
Music Lessons from Blue Balloon School
My girls have been taking guitar lessons with Blue Balloon School for several years and I cannot say enough good things about them! Their method of teaching through songwriting is so creative and supportive. Hermione has been begging to also learn the violin- maybe we will get her lessons for the holidays?
In the City Perry Dress
My good friend Brianne's new Mommy and Me line, In the City is so perfect for holiday dressing. I love the Perrry dress for both girls, maybe I will give it to them early so they can wear from Christmas Eve!
