Our Annual Valentine's Party

Last weekend the girls and I hosted our annual Valentine’s party for all of their neighborhood friends. Many of these girls have been friends since they were babies and it always so special to get our OG girls gang together. Once again we hosted the party at Jemz, the magical wonderland where Hermione take fashion design classes. It was such a special day celebrating love and all things pink! I am already looking forward to next year’s party!

It’s no secret that I love dressing the girls up for a Mommy and Me moment. I have had these floral dresses for them since the fall ( they were an option for my sister’s wedding) and I am so glad I found the perfect occasion for the girls to wear them. To coordinate with their floral look I chose my new favorite dress that I recently got on sale. I plan on wearing this beauty to many more events in the future!

Molly from Fleetwood Floral set up the most stunning pink flower bar. Each little guest got a chance to create their own arrangement to bring home from the gorgeous selection. Molly was on hand to assist the little floral designers. Something about children and flowers is just so heart warming!

My friend, the uber talented chef Carlin Greenstein provide us with the most delicious nibbles. There were three grazing boards including one with winter citrus, one with nut cheeses ‘fig salami”, toasts, cracker and olives, and an abundant winter crudités with (pink!) beet hummus. Since no Valentine’s party is complete without sweets we also had frosted vanilla sugar cookies with pink beet frosting and raspberry dust, mint chocolate brownie bites and mini coconut macaroons. For an activity Jemz set up the dreamiest bracelet making craft. There were pink and gold hearts galore. Each guest had so much fun getting creative and making a bracelets. Some of the moms (myself included) even made bracelets for themselves. I have been wearing mine all week!

No party is complete without a party favor! As guests left they were each given some Valentine’s goodies from Jemz along with a scrunchie from my Alice and Hops Valentine’s collab and a personalized Shabby for Me bracelet.

The girls are both still talking about their party and how much fun they had with their friends. I love that we have made this an annual tradition and plan to keep it going for many, many years!
