Essentials for a City Mom (featuring Colugo)

With a two year old and five year old my life is all about being prepared. Prepared and flexible.

I love to take them out on adventures all over the city, but there’s nothing worse than being stuck away from home with fussy, overtired, melting down kids

An easy stroller like the Colugo that is lightweight (16lbs) and can fit over my shoulder makes it simple to leave the house prepared. When your girls are as girly as mine a fun floral print on their “ fancy stroller” helps convince them to take a seat when they need a break or we need to get where we are going quickly (despite their protestations!).

My favorite part of the Colugo? It folds down small enough to fit under a coffee shop table so I am never stuck having to take our treats to go or suffer dirty looks from childless patrons when my stroller blocks their way!

When ever we head out I make sure we wearing cute shoes that we can walk comfortably in like my boots and the girls sparkly kicks. A crossbody bag that holds a few essentials is also key. I like to make mine unique with one of these fun straps. My girls are always protesting coats claiming they won’t get cold. A cute, fun, girly coat they actually want to wear helps me win this battle every time.

Our favorite thing to do on an adventure? Get vegan treats! Nothing better than sharing a special snack with my two little girlfriends!
