Our Valentine's Party
This weekend I threw our annual Valentine’s party for the girls and their friends. Valentine’s Day is our favorite holiday! I love celebrating every year with all of the friends we love so dearly.
This year’s party was held at Jemz, the magical wonderland where Hermione takes design classes. Jemz is every little girl’s dream, filled to the brim with sequins, ribbons, and fabric off all kinds. Every corner is packed with a little bit of magic.
The girls and I love a Mommy and Me moment and this was the perfect opportunity for a super sweet one in matching pink dresses and headbands. Please let them agree to twin with me forever?
As guests entered they were greeted by a gorgeous DIY flower bar designed by Molly Burke of Fleetwood Floral. Everyone loved creating their own bud vases to take home. Nothing sweeter that kids and flowers!
No party of ours would be complete without a spread of vegan eats. The kids were treated to a vegan approved candy bar, heart shaped donuts by Cinnamon Snail, and beautiful crudite, winter citrus and vegan cheese boards by my dear friend and brilliant chef Carlin. Later on as dinner time approached we had vegan pizza from our favorite local spot Saluggi’s. As tends to be the case with our parties, vegans and omnivores alike all loved the food!
For an activity Jemz made adorable heart shaped tote bags for the kids to decorate with jewels, pom pom, and even sequin trim they could write their name in!
Each guest left with a beautiful goody bags filled will tiny heart lockets, Meri Meri coin purses and stickers. I topped each bag with a pink velvet hair bow monogrammed with the girls initials. Monogram Mary made the custom bows for me and I adore how they turned out!
It was a truly beautiful and special afternoon celebrating love that the girls and I will cherish!
P.S. Did I mention Jemz has a giant planter filled with buttons? That might have been Portia’s favorite part…
