A Spring Fashion Guide
After a long winter of jeans, sweaters and boots, I’m ready for Spring fashion. Who’s with me? I love slipping on a pretty, feminine dress in warmer weather and transforming my mood and energy instantly.
Recently, I found myself virtual window shopping for those sweet and thoughtful transition pieces to throw over dresses when the weather gets cool in the evenings. My Winter to Spring staples are usually breezy dresses, platform sandals and little jacketsor light cardigans. Like how this cropped cardigan would be so cute with mini skirtsand a pullover. Leave me a note below in the comments section and tell me what you’re eyeing for Spring.
So, I’m excited to share with you a sophisticated Spring Shopping Guide I’ve specially curated (more to come, maybe). This isn’t your typical seasonal transition style guide. No, no, no! This is about elevating the care we take of ourselves. Getting dressed as an act of respect and adornment. To lift our spirits and to bring more energy to our day and lives
// a Spring Fashion Guide
Dressing up each day in beautiful fabrics, prints, florals, and feminine silhouettes is truly one of my love languages. I feel excited and ready to accomplish everything on my daily “Desire To-Do” list when I’ve taken the care to dress myself beautifully. I have a feeling this is you too ;) I hope you enjoy and feel inspired!
// Feminine Florals
Flirty floral dressing is my MO. This flowy dress, by one of my favorite brands, as a pretty option to wear to a Spring party or a night at the ballet. It’s going to be just as sweet with platform raffia sandals in the spring, as it will be with boots next Fall.
I especially adore a shoulder bearing, fit-and-flare silhouette and can’t wait to bring it on Spring Break with me this week. It’s made of linen so I’ll be sure to pack my travel steamer, as you do.
A heavenly bubble sleeved beauty I plan on wearing on July 4th and on many other spring and summer evenings.
You know I love a little white dress! This season, I plan on updating my own collection with a vintage inspired patchwork design, a classic babydoll one, and this gorgeous maxi version.
// The Set You Need
I picked up this adorable top and skirt (one of my favorites and designed by a friend!) that’s perfect for my spring break in Palm Springs and also excited to wear it out this August in Italy.
// For the Party or Gala
This perfect party dress I plan on wearing belted with a denim jacket thrown over my shoulders at an outdoor rooftop dinner.
Speaking of the ballet (was I?), I’m going to a black tie ballet gala in May and am especially excited to dress up in either a romantic gown or this maxi-length dress with a plunging v-neck. I got these total splurge shoes to go with it because I know I will reach for them again and again… and not just for fancy party dresses. I don’t think I have bought super fancy party shoes since my wedding! When’s the last time you treated yourself to the fashion splurge you wanted? Tell me in the comments below, what was it? Link us all, please.
I love a sandal with a slight heel to wear in the evenings with dresses. This pair and this one will go with my whole wardrobe. I also love this clog option with the perfect block heel. I am also considering getting this flat woven pair to replace my favorite sandals that were stolen off the beach last summer (who does that?!?!).
And, last but not least — If you’re like me and every time it rains in the spring you regret you don’t own a raincoat you love, I think I just solved our problem with this unique and feminine option.
