What I Loved This Month
Just like that Spooky Season is officially over! We really celebrated Halloween all month this year and it was so fun. So fun and so crazy! We did all the spooky things there were to do. I’m really, really ready to take a little break from being festive before we dive head first into the holidays though. Here are a few things I loved this past month:
CBD products are all the rage these days and I have tried a ton of them Cloud Water is truly the only oneI notice any real positive effect from. They delicious and every time I drink one I can feel my stress melting away. They are especially great on a crowded subway when you just need a little chill!
I usually resist reading the “it” book as much as I resist getting the “it” handbag. However I am so glad I jumped on the bandwagon and read The Testaments, the long awaited sequel to The Handmaids’s Tale. I flew through it in two days! So disturbing and yet it had moments of great humor as well.
My girls always look adorable for bed in matching nightgowns while I wear a ratty tee I literally gave birth in. No more! I am obsessed with Hill House Home’s Nap Dresses and have been wearing one to bed every night recently. I’ve never felt more sexy. Even if Doug jokes I look like someone straight out of a Jane Austen novel.
I recently ordered this sensory play set for Portia on the recommendation of a friend. She is now obsessed with them and we have purchased several more. I love how it is completely opened ended and she can use the dough and little toys to play however she likes!
We had the best time at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party at the beginning of the month. It was the perfect way to kick off Spooky Season and very special to experience the Magic Kingdom at night!
I took Hermione to see one of my favorite musicals and I am thrilled to say she loved it as much as I do! She truly is my Mini Me! I highly suggest grabbing tickets if you can!
